Meet Edward Githinji, not only a much-beloved caregiver at Merrill Gardens Auburn, but also our March Fall Champion Hero! Edward’s work is so valued in his community, he received two separate nominations, both celebrating his ability to calm residents in stressful situations and his mastery for assembling any device that’s needed. His nominators also recognized the compassion in his fall response, with Garden House Director Naomi Bikeri Nyameteh saying, “The attention he pays to the resident is very touching,” and Resident Care Director Meghan Hartough-Pfieffer adding, “He never rushes and takes his time in such a calming demeanor.” We’re thrilled to call Edward a Fall Champion Hero.

If you know a caregiver who deserves to be recognized for their fall response, nominate them here.
