Vice President of Sales

The Vice President of Sales will hire, develop, retain the sales team, create and execute sales strategies that drive revenue, and develop and manage the sales department budget. You will also work closely with other executives to drive strategic direction and resource allocation for the company. This role is ideal for an individual who is passionate about technology and SaaS, has managed teams selling SaaS to enterprises, and is enthusiastic about making a real impact within the healthcare space.

  • Recruit, hire, train and develop the sales organization to include remote sales employees to help drive complex enterprise deals
  • Support growth of the sales team through internal and external development
  • Set and execute an aggressive customer acquisition strategy to generate growth in revenue
  • Build and nurture an active sales funnel including closing new business opportunities while overseeing team members responsible for prospecting, qualifying, and escalating opportunities
  • Participate in and present at conferences
  • Determine sales strategy and tactics with support from CSO, and others
  • Handle pipeline with CRM tools for maximum efficiency and transparency, with carefully executed follow-up to closure by recording sales activity, updating stages and ensuring client information accuracy.
  • Communicate key customer and market insights to the broader SafelyYou team

The Ideal Candidate

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years experience as VP of Sales or equivalent in a SaaS company, preferably in a startup environment
  • Minimum 10 years of B2B healthcare sales experience with a track record of sales goal achievement -- experience selling to assisted living and/or skilled nursing facilities is a strong plus
  • Able to excel in both independent contributor and management positions
  • Demonstrated ability to excel within a startup environment
  • Proven ability to acquire, grow and retain new customers
  • High attention to detail; able to manage and own multiple tasks
  • Ability to quickly learn product, customer needs, and potential concerns
  • Able to effectively sell remotely via phone/video conference and through face-to-face meetings
  • Passionate about our mission and our technology
  • Solid understanding of the sales process and dynamics
  • Commitment to integrity, customer service and positive organization interactions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time | Able to travel as much as needed with expected travel of 2-3 trips lasting 2-3 days each per month
  • Ability to occasionally lift heavy equipment

Customer Success Manager

The Customer Success Manager will manage customer accounts to drive adoption and outcomes leading to renewals, expansion and advocacy across your portfolio.  This includes understanding customer outcomes through ongoing analysis of data. This role is ideal for an individual who has a high level of emotional intelligence with a strong project management background.  You work best in a dynamic, fast paced, technology-driven environment and are enthusiastic about making a real impact within the healthcare space.

  • Manage customer accounts to drive adoption and fall reduction outcomes leading to renewals, expansion and advocacy across your portfolio
  • The main point of contact between the company and a number of named accounts
  • Serve as the primary contact for the onboarding of new customers and post go-live support
  • Drive retention and growth by understanding customer needs and helping them succeed
  • Maintain a cadence of communicating with customers through Fall Huddles, site visits and data analysis for deeper engagement
  • Enable successful roll-out to customer employees through developing creative assets, brainstorming ideas and attending launches virtually or in person
  • Identify opportunities for customers to act as SafelyYou advocates (e.g. testimonials, case studies)
  • Represent the voice of the customer to improve our sales process and product roadmap
  • Work cross-functionality across all internal SY teams: AI, engineering, operations, sales

The Ideal Candidate

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • PT/PTA, OT/OTA, CNA, LVN, or RN is considered a plus
  • Minimum of 5+ years experience as a Customer Success Manager or equivalent in a healthcare setting, preferably in a healthcare SaaS startup environment
  • Passionate about SafelyYou’s mission and our technology
  • A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ownership mentality for our customer’s success throughout the lifecycle of each implementation project
  • Proactive about anticipating and addressing issues before they arise
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to deliver on multiple projects at a time
  • Demonstrated ability to wear many hats, manage ambiguity, and apply problem-solving skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, building and maintaining relationships
  • Comfortable with G Suite, Office 360, HubSpot and Slack
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time - ideally with your own vehicle

Sales Development Representative​

The SafelyYou Sales Development Representative is responsible for generating qualified leads and supporting the sales process. Their performance is measured based on revenue generation to assure the Company meets its revenue targets. Duties will include; account targeting & prospecting, pre-sales due diligence, establishing contact and developing qualified appointments. They will provide professional & knowledgeable product representation and ongoing updates to Company management.

The SafelyYou Sales Development Representative must have a solid understanding of the sales process. They should have strong interpersonal skills, be self-motivated, dynamic, warm and engaging. The SDR should have effective writing and verbal communication skills. with good judgment. Previous experience in a sales development role & proven ability to leverage social media, in particular, LinkedIn is a significant advantage.

  • Meet or exceed individual lead generation goals
  • Generate leads within the designated market of senior living communities & skilled facilities
  • Deliver motivational sales presentations to prospective clients
  • Obtain support & guidance from others in the Company as needed for sales opportunities
  • Answer client questions; including products, prices & availability
  • Calibrate the content of sales presentations based on pre-sales due diligence
  • Identify opportunities to enhance & accelerate the sales process
  • Update, maintain, & follow up on activities in Company CRM
  • Develop sales efforts in collaboration with Company marketing programs
  • Efficiently & effectively transition sales & lead opportunities to other Company resources
  • Keep management informed regarding daily, weekly, monthly activities & performances
  • Provide feedback on products, services, & policies to respective Company team members
  • Maintain current market & product knowledge

The Ideal Candidate

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, economics or a related field
  • 1-3 years’ experience in sales development, technology, SW, and/or healthcare
  • Solid understanding of the sales process & dynamics
  • Commitment to integrity & customer service
  • Proven positive organization interactions
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills
  • Superb interpersonal skills, ability to quickly build rapport with customers
  • Experience using digital business tools, including CRM (Hubspot or Salesforce), Slack, LinkedIn
  • Competency in MS Office or Google Drive applications
  • Energized working in a rapid-paced environment
