Preventing Falls & Beyond:
A how-to guide for fall management tech

On the first day of fall—and in the middle of Falls Prevention Awareness Week—SafelyYou will be joined by Direct Supply’s Clinical Director, Liz Jensen, for a robust fall prevention discussion, focusing on the role and advantages of technology in fall management. We’ll cover where technology fits into a comprehensive program, how to maximize these innovations, and methods for reducing fall risk through the timely orchestration of digital and human interactions. We’ll also review what technology works, what falls short, and why.

Learning objectives:

  • Evaluate advantages of technology in fall management
  • Define where technology fits into a comprehensive program
  • Determine how to get the most from the tech you choose
  • Review how to reduce fall risk through combined digital and human interactions
